About WildSteam
A sauna in nature. A fire in the stove. A swin in a cold water. Connecting with yourself in nature.
WildSteam is a small, grassroots project built around a simple idea:
Outdoor saunas in beautiful places with a great community.
It started as a one-man build in a Devon garden. A pile of timber, a design and means to step away from the screen and into something slower. Since then, it’s taken on a new direction.
Now, WildSteam is hoping to pop up in a few off-grid spots—by rivers, campsites, in private spaces, sea sides and under trees.
It’s early days, but the vision is clear: make it easy for people to experience the magic of outdoor heat and cold, even if they don’t have the land, tools, or time to build it themselves.
Where It’s Going
We’re partnering up with landowners, farmers, and campsites to set up mobile and semi-permanent saunas —hidden, simple, and open to anyone who needs a reset.
We’re not a polished spa brand or a tech start-up.
Just a local setup with a big respect for local people, land, and the people who care about both.
Who’s Behind It
I’m Jimmy. My background is in engineering, managing and designing big infrastructure projects and chasing deadlines.
I loved the mission, but missed the hands-on side. WildSteam is my way of staying connected—to craft, to nurture, and to something more connected to the self and nature.
Right now, I’m building it bit by bit—one sauna, one partnership, one good story at a time.
